File Mirrors allow you to automatically mirror all files in the File Manager to other locations. That means that whenever you upload a new file, it is automatically sent to each of your file mirrors. The mirror is notified in each of the following cases:
A file is uploaded
A file is deleted
A file is modified
To view file mirrors, click the
link in the left-hand column of the administration section. You will then be shown a list of existing file mirrors, with options to view, edit and delete mirrors.Currently the only mirror type available is the local file system mirror, meaning when a file is uploaded it will be mirrored elsewhere on the server on which Recite is running. When creating a mirror of this type you will be required to enter the file system path.
If you want to mirror files using SSH/SFTP or FTP then Fuse (or similar) should be used. More details can be found at http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2005/10/28/how-to-mount-a-remote-ssh-filesystem-using-sshfs/. Alternatively, if the server resides on the same network you may be able to mount a network drive in a similar fashion.
To create a new File Mirror, click the
tab at the top of the right-hand pane. Select the type of mirror and click .Enter the details for the file mirror and click the
