The users module is used to manage all user-related data on your web site. Users are split up into "user directories," allowing you to organise your users based on the type of user they are. For example, you might have one user directory to store users for your newsletter and another directory hold users that can access a secure area on your site.

Additionally, the users module is used to manage users that can log in to the Recite Control Panel and make changes to your web site.

Getting Started

To begin with the users module, click the Users tab in the main navigation. When the users module loads, you will see two columns: on the left is a list of user directories and mailing lists, while on the right is a summary of user directories with options to view, edit or delete directories.

In the left column it is also possible to change the view so you can manage Control Panel users and permissions. Click the Control Panel Users tab at the top of the left column to load this section.
